Alyssa Lyn

She/Her

Hi there, I'm glad you scrolled to my page! My name is Alyssa and I'm a musical theatre performer based out of Toronto, Ontario. Below you can read all about my career so far, but what my bio does not tell you is that I started actively pursuing my career during the pandemic (...did I mention i’m ambitious?!) Creating during lockdowns teaches you a lot and pushes you as an artist but, unfortunately, what it does not do is give you the opportunity to have professional content filmed to help promote your talents. Sharing stories through music is one of my greatest passions in life, and I'd love your help in having access to high quality footage that showcases my hard work as an artist. Any support is greatly appreciated and will be put to good use!

Alyssa's Goal: $590

Alyssa’s performing career began in 2007 with jazz, hip hop, contemporary, and tap. While continuing her dance education, she then found a passion for musical theatre, adding vocal and acting training to her repertoire. Alyssa expanded her involvement in the arts, performing in vocal festivals and benefit concerts, winning scholarships from a young age. Since then, she has studied at Randolph College for the Performing Arts, advancing her education as a versatile triple threat. Alyssa continues to build upon being a multifaceted performer; studying acting for film with Earl Nanhu of EVN Studios and heels dance with Stephanie Brinning in the SHE Dance Company. Alyssa is now located in Toronto, Ontario where she performs in both the musical theatre and commercial dance world. Alyssa is constantly seeking new opportunities to learn and grow as a performer and human. She recently became the head show writer and co-choreographer for Studio XIV Dance Co. where she gets to create and artistic direct dance concerts for adults. Outside of her arts career, Alyssa runs her own business as The Podcast Producer, encouraging, educating, and mentoring other business owners to help them create their dream podcasts.
